Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Use some lexical items related to urbanisation and its features, word formation: compound adjectives - Make simple dialogues using the given expressions. - Master some vocabularies about lexical items related to urbanisation and its features, word formation: compound adjectives - Get revision of the subjunctive in “that” clauses after certain verbs and expressions 1.1. Vocabulary: - To introduce the overall topic of Unit 2 “Urbanisation” - Use some lexical items related to urbanisation and its features - To help learner get started with some language items in Unit 2 1.2. Grammar: - Revision of the subjunctive in “that” clauses after certain verbs and expressions - To check Ss’ comprehension thorough questions - To provide Ss with a chance to express their opinion about their choice 2.
