 Was / Were + S + V-ing + O? 
 - Yes, S + was/ were.
 - No, S + wasn’t/ weren’t. 
 Lưu ý:
 was not = wasn’t; were not = weren’t
 2 . CÁCH SỬ DỤNG
Diễn tả 1 hành động đang xảy ra tại 1 thời điểm xác định trong quá khứ.
 Ex: I was playing
Diễn tả 1 hành động đang xảy ra trong quá khứ thì có 1 hành động khác 
 the guitar at 4 in the afternoon yesterday.
xen vào (thường có từ “when”)
 Ex: I was playing came
Diễn tả các hành động xảy ra song song trong quá khứ (thường có từ 
 computer games when my parents home.
“while”)
 Ex: was doing
 was washing was doing
